The Fight Hunger Bowl will donate one meal for every ticket sold to the game!

The Bowl has donated over 300,000 meals in three years to the Bay Area's hungry! A BIG thank you to our partners and fans for your support!

The Fight Hunger Bowl is committed to advancing the fight against hunger here in the Bay Area. We have partnered with local Feeding America affiliates to help tackle hunger in our community.

Our Efforts:

  • In partnership with Nabisco, Wells Fargo, Macy's, RBC Wealth Management and ABC7 the Fight Hunger Bowl will donate ONE MEAL for EVERY ticket purchased to the 2013 game to our local hunger organizations: the San Francisco Food Bank, the St. Anthony Foundation and the GLIDE Foundation.
  • This December we will be auctioning off multiple Bowl Week experience packages. The packages include items that fans can't get elsewhere, like pre-game field passes and autographed memorabilia. Proceeds from the auctions will go toward our donation efforts. Be sure to check the website for details! Auctions will be live December 10th.
    Team Visits
    • During Bowl Week, each team will spend time giving back to the Bay Area. This year, Washington will visit GLIDE, and BYU will visit St. Anthony's. Both teams will work to prep and serve meals to San Francisco's needy on Christmas Day. By volunteering, the players not only help the Bay Area hunger crisis, but they also gain awareness and a new perspective. We hope the players are inspired to continue to give back to their own communities.
    • Need a little inspiration of your own? Check out this video of the Illini's impromptu jam session with one of St. Anthony's guests in 2011:

We recognize your deep passion in the struggle to end hunger; our hearts are touched by your leadership and love! Thank you for all you do. "Thanks to all the Board and staff who made the Fight Hunger Bowl such a huge success. It was an honor to be one of the recipients of your generosity. It was also great fun on top of it all. Having the team serve in the dining room was certainly one of the many highlights."
